Cobholm Primary Academy takes part in UEA Outreach Programme
BackOn Wednesday 25th January, pupils in year 5 from Cobholm Primary Academy took part in the UEA Outreach Future Stars programme held by ambassadors from the UEA. This programme aims to provide pupils with knowledge about university, skills that they may need in their future, and to advise them on the different paths they can take.
Pupils from the school were given the opportunity to explore different areas of the campus, as well as the chance to take part in a range of STEM events from circuit building to occupation therapy support. The pupils found the event incredibly rewarding and engaged with the activities with a positive and logical approach. The ambassadors at the UEA were a pleasure to work with, and were more than happy to discuss university life with the pupils. The event gave our pupils a real sense of what life at university will be like, and offered them a chance to see how their future education may look one day.
